We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Paralegal with a specialization in Personal Injury to join our thriving legal team. You will be involved in all aspects of our personal injury cases, from inception through discovery and trial. Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Provide comprehensive litigation support throughout the lifecycle of personal injury cases.

2. Conduct initial case investigations to determine if enough evidence exists to file a lawsuit.

3. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and trial briefs.

4. Review, organize, and summarize medical records and other case-related documents and materials.

5. Assist attorneys in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with the preparation of witnesses for deposition and / or trial.

6. Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of reports, legal arguments, and advice to clients.

7. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel.

8. Maintain case management system and ensure that case files and documents are properly saved and organized.

9. Attend trials and assist attorneys with the presentation of evidence.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the Personal Injury field.

2. A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.

3. Proficiency in litigation support software and Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Exceptional legal writing and research skills.

5. Strong experience in document review, with an ability to analyze and organize numerous legal documents.

6. Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

8. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Knowledge of court rules and procedures, e-filing systems, and trial proceedings.

10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
