Tax Accountant

Job Title : Tax Accountant

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Reports To : Senior Tax Manager

Salary : $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions and estimated payments

Support external tax advisors and auditors during annual audits and tax engagements

Research tax issues and changes in tax laws, ensuring timely and accurate compliance

Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on interdepartmental matters impacting taxes

Stay current on changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting the business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

1-3 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting or corporate tax environment)

Strong understanding of federal and state tax codes and regulations
