Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.
Summary :
The Network Administrator will assist in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN / WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
 - Performs various Tier I and Tier II service desk duties.
 - Assist in the design, installation, and configuration of LAN / WAN infrastructure and network hardware.
 - Support the maintenance and monitoring of network systems to ensure high availability and performance.
 - Conduct network testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
 - Collaborate with senior network engineers and IT staff to implement network improvements and upgrades.
 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams and configuration records.
 - Provide technical support for network-related service requests and incidents.
 - Participate in the evaluation of new networking technologies and tools.
 
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge :
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Basic understanding of network protocols, routing and switching, and LAN / WAN technologies.Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Minimum Qualifications :
At least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.IAT Level II CertificationMust have active TS / SCIPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Experience working in federal or defense environments.Industry standard technical and network certifications.#CJ
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $88,000.00 to $99,000.00 annually.
