Job Purpose :

The Plant Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of plant operations including financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial control systems. They will support Plant Management in the operations of the Plant in all ways and share ownership of achieving Plant performance metrics including Revenue, Gross Profit & Margin, Inventory Turns, etc.

Nature of Duties / Responsibilities :

• Provide advice and counsel to plant operating management to ensure optimum plant performance.
• Collect and interpret financial data to influence or drive management decisions aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and implement programs that control the corporation’s financial risk under direction from the Division Controller and Corporate Accounting.
• Review and analyze financial information with Plant Managers to drive plant profitability.
• Prepare and submit in a timely fashion the month-end close and management reports.
• Prepare financial projections and Plant status reports for divisional and corporate management and coordinate discussions on financial matters.
• Develop and implement systems to control manufacturing operation costs and monitor product lines and customer profitability.
• Operate as a problem solver with the ability to provide practical solutions.
• Demonstrate analytical skills, organization, and effective communication of information and recommendations to management.
• Lead with a finance perspective in departmental meetings and address operational challenges of the manufacturing plant.
• Work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Present clear verbal and written communication of complex information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range (annual) : $150,000 - $170,000

Note : The total rewards package may include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays and PTO, and may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and a discretionary bonus program.
