Position: RN Weekend Supervisor
Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: Part-Time | Doubles every other weekend (7:00 AM–3:00 PM & 3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $50.00/hour

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care while supporting and mentoring staff.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations

• Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high standards of care and compliance

• Participate in state surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections

• Review and oversee resident care plans and discharge planning processes

• Ensure proper staffing coverage across assigned shifts

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor care delivery and team performance

• Address staff concerns and escalate issues appropriately

• Assist with new admissions, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition for residents

• Collaborate with physicians during rounds as needed

• Oversee medication administration and treatment accuracy

• Provide hands-on nursing care when necessary

• Perform resident assessments and monitor clinical status

• Contribute to performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs

• Support overall facility operations with additional duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of New Jersey

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, rehab, or geriatric settings

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience

• Current CPR certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
