Our Information Technology department is currently seeking an application system administrator for its Cinergy Team, to install software and support the application / system environments as well as maintain and promote that software through all environments.
Be ready to :
Software support test (operational readiness / smoke test) third-party application software, upgrades and patches on serversmaintain third-party software on serversmanage generic and service accounts (e.
g., change passwords, decommission)validate and monitor software / server accessevaluate and recommend third-party software upgradesoptimize / configure third-party software on servers for multiple service areasconfigure and install third-party software, upgrades and patches on serversoptimize generic and service accounts (e.
g., change passwords)coordinate software / hardware installs and upgrades with IT Infrastructure resourcesprovide debugging assistance to developers set up and maintain application user permissionsreview application-related documentation to identify and communicate pertinent upgrades / enhancement packsanalyze the effects of software / configuration changes on other systemswork together with development team (if applicable) and source integrity team for the first installation of application software / components and releases into environments using their tools and processes for initial server deploys where applicablecreate and deploy build packages as part of the software delivery processconfigure and modify schedule tool for software cycles and processes (schedule jobs and processes)
Be equipped with :
- knowledge of system application architecture, database schemas and development tools
- experience with supporting, troubleshooting, and problem-solving production issues
- familiar with .NET, IIS, SQL Server, GitHub, Kubernetes
- moderate understanding of web service technologies
- experience with MQ and MIM
- familiar with XML technologies
- effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
- work and communicate effectively with others to achieve results
