Job Description
Responsible for managing the IT people, processes, and tools that support Training and Optimization for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). Position Summary Serves as the area leader in the planning, design, development, and support for training and optimization.
Manages teams responsible for the training and optimization the OSUWMC's clinical applications to ensure optimal use. This is an application leadership position with required skill sets to manage systems analysts and system consultants for training, optimization and support. Coordinates major training and optimization initiatives, including system upgrades, new implementations, expansion of use and breadth of application functionality.
Manages projects involving high clinical / safety and / or business risk, scope and impact to the organization; leads and facilitates strategic projects involved in evaluating and researching new and existing products, procedures and / or workflows needs associated with clinical applications. Individual serves as a subject matter expert and manager for training and optimization strategies, procedures, policies, and methodologies.
Individual provides direction and insight to leaders, peers and team members regarding the identification and alignment of strategic training and optimization requirements with evolving application, information technology / business opportunities. Recognized across the organization for expertise and sought as a source for training and optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Allied Health, Computer Sciences or related field, and 5 years of experience in Application Technology leadership.
