Description of Work

The Graduate Student Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the Department of Educational Administration (EDAD) is responsible for outreach to prospective online students in the department, including student recruitment, lead nurturing, and maintaining a working knowledge of campus offices and activities related to online education, and monitoring and analyzing the impact of recruitment and outreach efforts.

This position will work with the customer relations management (CRM) tool through the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) and related teams to ensure timely and consistent communications appropriate for prospective online student populations.

The Graduate Student Recruitment & Outreach Specialist will lead nurturing efforts in collaboration with the OGS and the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) and collaborate with both in student recruitment.

The Graduate Student Recruitment & Outreach Specialist will also coordinate, write, and disseminate communication pieces for internal and external audiences using a variety of platforms (print, electronic, social media).

The Graduate Student Recruitment and Outreach Specialist will support communications, special events, marketing, and public relations for EDAD and CEHS AFIRE, as assigned by the chair, including maintenance of websites, in coordination with CEHS and University Communication staff, identification, research, production, and distribution stories of EDAD students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and assistance in the planning, development and execution of the department’s marketing / student recruiting / communications plans.
