Job Description
A respected California firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 10 years of experience to join its General Liability practice group. Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of general liability defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and case evaluations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies
- Assist with trial preparation and, when applicable, trial work
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the California State Bar3 to 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability defenseStrong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with a commitment to client service and professional growthCompensation and Benefits
