Network Analyst - Omaha, NE

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

Install and configure network hardware, software, and related infrastructure to meet enterprise networking needs.

Troubleshoot and resolve network related issues, with a focus on ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Monitor and manage daily network operations, including performance tuning and capacity planning for campus, data center, and remote locations.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex network problems and implement new technologies.

Document and design network architecture, including LAN, WAN, data center, and wireless solutions, while supporting continuous process improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING :

Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP protocols, switching, routing, load balancing, DNS, and performance monitoring.

Hands-on experience with cabling systems, patch panels, and copper and fiber termination.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem resolution, with the ability to interpret circuit diagrams and packet captures.

Experience in network maintenance and administration, including asset management, end of life, and software and hardware upgrades. Ability to work independently or within a project framework, demonstrating collaboration and adaptability in team environments.

PREFERRED :

5-10 years of experience in a complex network environment. Strong written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with some of Mutual's networking tools : Cisco (ACI, SD-WAN, wireless), HPE / Aruba (ClearPass, Aruba Central, wireless), F5 (load balancing, irules, traffic steering), Infoblox (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), SolarWinds (NPM, NCM), Allegro (packet analysis, alerting), and Gigamon.

Experience with the practical application of scripting in support of network automation.
