Position Description
JOB TITLE : Software Developer
DEPARTMENT : Engineering
REPORTS TO : Sr Director Engineering
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SUMMARY : Technology is a critical part of Pierson Wireless’ success, and the Software Developer position supports our succes by designing, developing, testing, and publishing software applications to support key business functions. Software applications include web, iOS or Android App front-ends and SQL, , or Python backends.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Gather and refine specifications from supervisors and stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing interfaces with user-friendly design and clear navigation using standard HTML / CSS practices.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and supervisors on assignment progress, challenges, or new ideas.
- Clocks in and out for activities throughout the day in Pierson Wireless’ project management cloud solution.
- Follows safety policies for safe work.
- Provides support to other team members and staff as needed.
- Operates company-provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follows all local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Submits receipts and expense records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
