Job description
A company is looking for a Scheduling Systems Specialist to design, implement, and maintain IBM Workload Scheduler batch jobs and schedules across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, create, and maintain IWS batch jobs and job schedules to ensure timely production of work
Collaborate with development teams to establish processing priorities and manage workload complexity
Provide 24x7 on-call support for scheduling issues and mentor batch operators on best practices
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
7+ years of experience managing IBM Workload Scheduler in large, complex environments
Proven experience administering UNIX / Linux and Windows systems with strong scripting skills
Familiarity with Progress MFT MOVEit File Transfer and Automation tools
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and secure system configurations
Skilled in supporting resilient infrastructure operations and performance optimization
