CNC Machinist

PrideStaff is looking for a CNC Machinist!

Job Responsibilities :

Operate CNC milling and turning centers to machine metal parts to precise tolerances

Program CNC machines by creating G-code programs from engineering drawings and CAD models

Set up machines with required tooling, workholding and make test cuts to prove out programs

Load and unload parts, tools and workholding fixtures on machines

Inspect parts using calibers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools

Maintain equipment and keep work area organized and clean

Skills Required :

5+ years of experience operating CNC milling and lathe machines

Strong geometry, trigonometry and computer skills for programming

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and CAD models

Problem solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues

Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring part quality

Effective communication and documentation skills
