The COI Ceramics (COIC) organization within Northrop Grumman's Intelligence Systems division's Mission Enabling Products is a leading producer of Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) components. The COIC organization is seeking a highly qualified, mission-oriented Program Manager 1 - Proposals to join our exciting team in San Diego, CA which provides various markets with critical Ceramic Composite Matrix (CMC) oxide and non-oxide products including applications in RF applications, exhaust systems, and thermally resistant structures.
The Program Manager's responsibilities are broad and rewarding. This position is focused on new business proposal coordination, and proposal management for the Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) product line. Proposal coordination activity includes overall proposal tracking, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management for proposal processing activities. Proposal management activity includes internal and external customer interface, Basis of Estimates (BOE) and compliance matrices development, and proposal writing. The program manager will be accountable to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives are achieved for assigned program managerial roles. Additionally, the program manager may plan and oversee independent research and development (IRAD) activities and perform other program duties as assigned.

Primary Level Salary Range : $129,900.00 - $194,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
