Job descriptionTrain and mentor reception staff Create front desk schedules Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures Serve as the first point of contact for staff issues or patient complaints Maintain patient records (physical and electronic) Monitor and order office supplies Coordinate with medical staff and management Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy standards Generate and submit daily / weekly reports (appointments, billing, etc.) Assist with billing questions and insurance verification Collaborate with office manager or practice administrator Experience as a medical receptionist (usually 2-5 years) Familiarity with EMR / EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, Kareo) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lead a team and resolve conflicts Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes Organized and able to multitask under pressure

This role blends administrative leadership with patient service duties.
