About the Team :

The Developer Experience (DevX) team aims to make Coinbase the ultimate place for building in crypto. We are dedicated to enhancing productivity through continuous improvement, supported by advanced tools and frameworks that utilize both quantitative and qualitative metrics. Our goal is to revolutionize developer workflows for both on-chain and off-chain developers, leveraging AI to dramatically amplify productivity across Coinbase.

Your Responsibilities :

Identify opportunities within Coinbase to boost productivity, define goals, and drive outcomes.

Act as a thought leader and influence a diverse range of stakeholders who create products or manage financial operations at Coinbase.

Contribute to shaping the strategic direction and execution plans for the DevX organization.

Deliver high-quality technical contributions that inform the multi-year roadmap for DevX.

Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with a focus on your technical expertise.

Mentor and train fellow team members on design practices and coding standards.

Write robust, well-tested code to fulfill customer needs.

What We Seek in You :

12+ years of experience in backend software engineering, particularly with Golang or similar languages, along with a solid understanding of mobile / web development.

A proven history of delivering impactful solutions that propel software development.

Experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining high-throughput and low-latency production services.

Deep understanding of client development and experience in driving performance enhancements.

A track record of architecting and developing innovative solutions to complex problems with significant impact.

Strong operational rigor and the ability to influence high-quality, reliable services.

Expertise in building distributed systems capable of massive scaling.

Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A relentless drive to set and achieve ambitious goals.

A passion for contributing to an open financial system that unites the world.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience delivering on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Background in medium to large enterprises.

Domain expertise in crypto and on-chain technologies.

Compensation details : Depending on your location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $253,895 to $298,700 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase include target bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
