Job Summary
The Technical Sales Engineer combines engineering and customer facing skills to deliver engineered solutions. In this role, you will assess customer needs, develop and price solutions, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You will also support quoting, product customization, and technical consultation for customers, while providing feedback that drives product development and continuous improvement.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, working closely with Regional Sales Managers and engineers to meet application requirements.
- Create and deliver quotes, proposals, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to design custom connectors and solutions, including CAD modeling support.
- Manage custom projects in collaboration with both Roseville and Shenzhen facilities.
- Ensure solutions support profitable growth objectives.
- Document activities and customer interactions in CRM / ERP systems.
- Support customers in solving technical issues with product usage.
- Provide market and application feedback to drive new product development.
- Represent company at trade shows and customer visits, as needed.
