Duty Station : Olympia, Washington Thurston County

Hybrid / Telework : Up to two days of telework may be available at the discretion of the supervisor.

This position plays a key role in supporting the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's mission within the Habitat Program's Administrative Operations Division. Reporting to the Strategic Operations Section Manager, you'll help balance priorities and coordinate vital technical projects for the Energy, Water, and Major Projects (EWMP) Division.

As a core member of the Chehalis Section, you'll provide essential operational and analytical support, managing contracts, organizing data, and streamlining project coordination. Your work will help ensure smooth operations for some of the Department's most impactful habitat and infrastructure projects.

What to Expect :

Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the Habitat Chehalis Section Support Analyst will :

• Provide Operational Support for the Chehalis Section
• Acts as an effective communications link and reliable source of information for others to create cohesiveness, collaboration, and clear communications.
• Develops and maintains the Section's project schedule by collecting project information, developing and managing the scheduling database, and reporting to the Division and Chehalis Section Manager for direction on any adjustments or corrections.
• Collects, compiles, and analyzes information and data for internal and external reporting.
• Assists with budget development and updates.
• Tracks contract spending and communicates changes in work schedule that impact contract spending to Division leadership, Habitat Budget Staff, and Administrative Operations Manager.

Working Conditions :

Schedule : This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week. The standard work schedule includes the potential for occasional evening or weekend work as needed. Alternative schedules may be considered based on business needs.
