Job description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Maine, starting on Oct 28, 2025. This role features a four-day workweek with ten-hour shifts, focusing on providing comprehensive primary care in a community health setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as needed.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in community outreach and wellness programs.
