General Description
The general manager directs the restaurant to ensure a high-performance customer-centric operation and an agile operation that promotes customer loyalty. Represents Campero as the local face of the brand. Responsible for the intricacies of running a successful Campero restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Establish objectives and goals for operations and oversee daily shift operations
- Pursues the implementation of best practices in terms of operation
- Models passion for service, establishing a dynamic of interaction with customers and restaurant employees
- Attends and resolves issues that arise in the restaurant operation
- Involves in the operational and technical training of employees
- Provides timely feedback on performance and ensures that the team is developing according to plan, ensuring that incoming staff meet the company's policy
- Maintains food safety and quality standards
- Verifies customer satisfaction / Handles customer complaints, interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
- Organizes schedules, tracks employee hours, and records payroll data
- Places orders with suppliers
- Manages losses and profits
- Ensures that all cash withdrawals at the end of the day are completed correctly
- Coordinates the daily front and internal operations of the restaurant
- Controls operating costs and identifies ways to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinates the recruitment, selection, and onboarding to maintain a complete team in the restaurant
- Maintains general sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, kitchen services, dishes, and utensils.
- Follows and complies with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
