What You'll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location, providing a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and / or security-related concerns.

Engage with staff, patients, and visitors to offer customer service and address inquiries in a professional manner.

Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with site personnel as needed.

Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Follow established procedures for handling confidential information and sensitive situations within a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Have at least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
