What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity and / or security-related hazards, reporting observations to the appropriate personnel. Control access to the location by verifying identification and / or credentials as required. Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with public transportation staff and / or law enforcement as necessary to support security-related objectives. Minimum Requirements : Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit. Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
