Electromechanical Engineer

We're looking for an Electromechanical Engineer who's just as comfortable designing high power circuits as they are cranking out CAD for mechanical assemblies. If you love building real things—fast—and want to own the entire process of designing, prototyping, testing, and helping us scale from early builds to functional systems, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Hands-on work building and testing HTS (high-temperature superconducting) magnets high-current power supplies, energy storage systems , and cryogenic cooling systems
• Designing and prototyping high current REBCO based conductors and associated testing infrastructure.
• Standing up our R&D lab, setting up all kinds of equipment and scientific instruments.
• Owning your designs from CAD to test stand—generating models and drawings, working with vendors to get the parts, and spearheading assembly.
• Debugging hardware, defining requirements, translating tokamak system level attributes to subsystem performance metrics.
• Solving hard problems.
