Looking for a new administrative role where no two days are the same? ProSearch is hiring a Temp-to-Hire Administrative Assistant on behalf of an innovative and progressive healthcare organization in Portland, Maine. In this role, you’ll follow a hybrid schedule and handle a mix of billing support, office coordination, and general admin tasks. You'll help keep things organized, follow multi-step processes, and jump in where needed.
Administrative and Office Support
- Order office supplies and help maintain organized workspaces
- Assist with operational needs and day-to-day workflow
- Process records requests and releases according to internal policy and with necessary approvals
- Collaborate with intake, billing, and leadership teams to support general practice operations
- Coordinate communication with clients regarding billing issues, payments, and monthly statements
- Respond to client inquiries and provide receipts or documentation as needed
- Help resolve claims and payment issues
- Communicate with insurance providers to resolve claims, payment denials, or verification delays
- Complete insurance verifications for new and existing clients
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow internal procedures
