As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns

Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel

Assist with access control for staff, patients, and visitors, verifying identification and / or authorization as required by site policies

Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership, including assisting with evacuations and / or medical emergencies

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client

A valid Guard Card or license is preferred

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
