Job descriptionAssist in compiling and reviewing fiscal year-end and interim financial reports. Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports. Support investment and cash balance monitoring. Participate in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. Attend and observe financial presentations to Committees and Boards. Gain exposure to actuarial reviews, tax filings, and audits. Learn about how and why captive insurance companies are used as part of risk financing programs. Learn about compliance with bank covenants and insurance collateral requirements. Assist in budget preparation and financial projections. Stay informed on accounting, tax, and regulatory updates. Examples of prior majors' interns have pursued : Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance, and more. Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.
