Joe Pelle Center Behavioral Health Manager
Boulder County Community Services Department is seeking to hire a Joe Pelle Center (JPC) Behavioral Health Manager.
The (JPC) Behavioral Health Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of behavioral health treatment and client navigation services within the JPC. This role directly supervises the supervisors of these programs, sets a clear vision for how services align with evidence-based practices, regulatory requirements, JPC operations, and ensures meaningful integration with community partners. Navigation programming focuses on connecting clients to resources required for core stability (e.g., identification, benefits, housing, employment, healthcare) and to supports that help them thrive. Treatment services include individual and group psychotherapy addressing behavioral health and criminogenic needs, delivered with fidelity to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and gender-responsive practices. The Manager also leads capacity-building to develop and ultimately facilitate specialized residential programming [e.g., Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT), Residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment (RDDT)], including securing and maintaining state funding, establishing compliance and reporting mechanisms, and ensuring fidelity to state requirements.

This is a full-time, benefited position that will generally work Monday - Friday 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm. Times vary based on workload need; weekends and evenings may be required. This position will work out of 3260 Airport Rd, Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is exempt.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work. Hiring salary range : $83,844.00 - $120,732.00 annually.
Tentative hiring timeline :
New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month. Boulder County offers bountiful benefits, including pension contributions.
