Foundation Director

Position :

• Foundation Director Reports to :        Telluride Medical Center CEO The Foundation Director staffs and oversees, together with the Hospital CEO, the Foundation Board Chair and the Foundation Board of Directors, the Telluride Medical Center Foundation.
• The Foundation’s mission is to ensure patients have access to essential health care services by investing in key medical center priorities while also positioning TMC to better support future community health needs.
• The Director is responsible for the management of all aspects of a comprehensive development program.
• Principal Responsibilities Develop and manage a comprehensive strategic fundraising plan including major gifts, planned giving, grants, annual giving, and events, in accordance with TMCF’s strategic planning priorities Create and manage development budget, establish goals, strategies and measurement tools Oversee daily operations of the Foundation office including management of staff, capital, program, endowment, annual giving campaigns and special events Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations Oversee grant writing and grant management.
• Manage the E-Tapestry database.

Assist the TMC CEO in strategic and operational planning as a member of the senior management team Maintain strong professional relationship with TMC CEO based on clear communication, collaboration and cooperation Oversee all aspects of the management of the Foundation Board including recruitment, education and training, implementation of campaigns and board development initiatives Work closely with support groups (Telluride Women Give, Telluride Table, Golf Tournament, etc.) to facilitate fundraising opportunities Establish and maintain methods and procedures for all development activities including, but not limited to :
