White Horse Village (WHV),a retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add a Senior Director of Information Technology to our team! In this hands-on role, you will manage the IT team, deliver against tight deadlines in a dynamic environment; while being responsible for enabling a high-performing and reliable IT operation and robust infrastructure to support WHV’s operational / strategic plans. This role is responsible to nurture cross-functional synergy between departments, drive standardization practices and process improvements, create opportunity from complexity while being insightful regarding “the art of the possible”.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic and tactical plans for successful deployment of WHV’s information technology and infrastructure / architecture.
- Oversee all information technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
- Working with WHV senior leadership team and residents devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of WHV strategies.
- Ensure that internal customers are provided with adequate information and technical tools to successfully complete their tasks.
- Study technology systems to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that WHV’s technological process and service comply with all requirements, laws and regulations.
- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality
- Study current and emerging industry trends, technologies and software development.
- Strategize and implement information technology that results in advancing WHV’s strategic direction.
- Estimate and establish cost parameters, budgets and potential ROI.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to create long-term plans and improvements.
- Provide support and mentorship to leadership team members.
- Purchase technology software, equipment and accessories for WHV (in conjunction with Operational & Strategic plans)
- Develop and maintain a fee-for-service resident technology support program.
- Collaborate with, manage and support Information Technology partnerships / vendors.
- Address technology infrastructure stability and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
Track record of successfully supervising and mentoring staff and seeing to their professional development, and serving as an IT leader accountable for results.Strong understanding of a broad range of information technologies including networks, servers, information security infrastructure, computers and mobile devices of all types.Strong analytical skills, with an ability to develop and implement improved IT solutions for White Horse Village.Experience in controlling IT budget.Excellent organizational skills.Outstanding communication abilitiesAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with leadership team members.Ability to be a “big picture” thinker.Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.BS / BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; Master’s degree a plus.
