Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes based on medical documentation

Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and analyze medical records for coding purposes

Participate in coding audits and maintain accurate records of coding activities

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred

3-5 years of medical coding experience required

In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Familiarity with coding guidelines set by relevant organizations
