Structural Engineer with Security Clearance

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Structural Engineer. Position type : Full-time - Contract Duration : 12+ Months Location : Newport News, VA 23607 As a Structural Engineer, you will : Coordinates and administers the corporate staffing function within the Human Development Department. Interviews prospective Team Members for exempt and non-exempt jobs up to the managerial level, refers applicants to specific job openings, administers pre-employment tests, checks references, coordinates temporary staffing function, conducts exit interviews and coordinates other related activities and compliance monitoring Roles & Responsibilities :

• Coordinates recruiting efforts to obtain qualified Sales and Leadership Team Members, as required, including interviewing and scheduling arrangements with the requested department management for exempt and non-exempt jobs up to the managerial level.
• Discusses requirements for various job vacancies with appropriate management.
• Interviews, screens and, where applicable, tests applicants.
• Refers qualified applicants to hiring supervisors for subsequent interview
• Prepares internal postings and / or external advertisements with hiring manager and advertising agency, as needed.
• Arranges for appropriate posting of job openings and schedules interviews for perspective internal candidates with requesting department management on a timely basis.
• Responds in an appropriate manner and on a timely basis to applications and inquiries for employment with the Company and to unsuccessful candidates for employment.
• Coordinates and arranges all necessary travel and lodging arrangements to ensure the effective recruitment of perspective Team Members.
• Proven success recruiting for sales and leadership roles in the telecommunications industry in Technology / Infrastructure roles
• Possesses strong headhunting skills : relationship building, networking, influencing, negotiation, proactive, & perseverance
• Must have skill in interviewing techniques, a basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices, excellent organizational, communication and computer skills and a basic understanding of the Company’s organization structure as well as working knowledge of Team Member policies and procedures.
• Understands and can explain Sales commission structures
• Requirements :
• Full time in office (no remote / hybrid offerings) Requirements :
• 5-7 years of recruiting experience , a minimum of 2 years Sales & leadership recruitment, specifically for a technology or telecom service sector.
• Has hired for positions such as account managers, presales, marketing, and solution engineers
• Familiar with Global System Integrator (GSI) and Data Centers environments
• Is expanding their headhunting skills : relationship building, networking, influencing, negotiation, proactive, & perseverance
• Is an innovator that brings value in their ideas to their team
• Knowledge of commission structures, P&L, and Quotas
• Knowledge of interview techniques
