Job description

Staff Operations Manager

Onsemi is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Staff Operations Manager. This role is critical in supporting business unit operations through strategic planning, capacity alignment, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in semiconductor supply chains, distribution models, and operational analytics, with a passion for driving efficiency and scalability across global teams.

Performance Objectives

Strategic Business Planning

  • Partner with business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with market trends and corporate objectives.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning cycles, including scenario modeling and performance tracking.

Capacity & Supply Chain Alignment

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure capacity plans meet business needs.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support customer demand and revenue goals.

    • Inventory Strategy & Projection

  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies that balance customer service levels, working capital, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide inventory projections based on demand signals, production plans, and market dynamics.
  • Monitor inventory health across product lines and recommend actions to optimize turns and reduce excess / obsolete stock.

    • Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements across planning, execution, and reporting functions.
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and identify areas for optimization.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to ensure alignment on business priorities and execution plans.
  • Support product lifecycle management, including new product introductions and transitions.
