As a Private Client Manager, you will be joining our West Region Sales Team! This is a dynamic and integral team here at Hagerty providing insurance products and membership services to collector car enthusiasts through multiple channels.
Responsibilities for the Private Client Manager will include growing and maintaining Hagerty’s Private Client accounts in CA, AZ, NV, OR, and WA.
These include vehicles and collections above $500,000. You will build strategies, development plans, meet with clients and brokers, and collaborate with other sales teams to drive sales results in the West Region.
You will be part of the leadership team and expected to travel with, coach, and mentor the Territory Managers in the region on how to work with high net worth brokers, clients and prospects.
You will be responsible for pipeline management across the region for HNW individuals and leading the sales efforts to retain and close new members.
The role also includes traveling to and attending car shows or social events with agents or clients and conducting ongoing product and risk management training.

What you’ll do
- Implement business plans, formal presentations, and proposals in a credible manner to high net worth brokers, clients and prospects.
- Market Hagerty products to insurance brokers, regional automotive influencers, direct clients, and commercial accounts.
- Participate in select insurance and automotive events with the objective of identifying new prospects and building relations with existing members.
- Visit existing prospects with the objective of conversion to client status.
- Visit with existing clients to maintain communications, increase retention, and use the existing base as spheres of influence in identifying new prospects.
- Work with partners to identify ways to increase awareness, understanding, and utilization of Hagerty; implement a variety of communication and training projects.
- Be a subject matter expert on the buying habits, preferences, product differences and nuances of the high-net-worth car collector and be willing to train others.

Role Requirements
- Proven success in a competitive sales environment.
- Strong insurance sales and / or leadership experience.
- Willingness to travel 25-35% of the month, year-round.
- Ability to balance multiple projects under tight constraints.
- Current Personal Lines Insurance License.
- Proficient user of MS Office products : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Tableau and Salesforce.
- Valid Driver’s License and good standing driving record.
- CPRIA certification or similar certification or willingness to acquire it.

- The position is a remote role for residents of the Western region of the United States with preference that the role resides in the Southern California market.
