Project Manager - Digital Marketing

Internally Titled : Digital Project Manager

Role Summary

As the Digital Project Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of various digital marketing projects, including product launches, digital assets creation and advertising campaigns.

You will ensure the Digital Marketing Teams deliver launches, and campaigns on-time and on-brand. You will also develop and manage project plans and processes and lead cross-functional team meetings.

The Digital Project Manager will report to the Director of Digital Marketing.

To be a successful Digital Project Manager, you should have sound knowledge of building integrated campaigns, digital marketing technologies, and platforms.

Outstanding Digital Project Managers have an excellent technical background, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan digital campaigns from the initial stages through to final delivery and manage its critical paths.
• Coordinate timelines and team resources for multiple digital deliverables including, but not limited to : website updates, content creation, online advertisements, SEO / SEM campaigns, eBurst series, photoshoots and promotional materials
• Act as the key contact for digital campaigns for cross-functional Divisions such as : Marketing & Communications, Product Development, Sales and Information Services
• Identify and implement project milestones and success metrics
• Review project resources and provide an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project (i.e., project debrief meeting and / or documentation)
• Form strong relationships with other departments within Eminence and develop communication channels between the relevant parties
• Regularly update key stakeholders on project status
• Oversee the projects financial budget, notify stakeholders of key cost implications, changes to budget, spending and cost changes
• Support projects for the 3 Digital Marketing Teams with planning from initial stages through to final delivery and manage its critical paths.
• Proofread and copy edit digital deliverables, verifying information and content align with Project and Creative Briefs
• Apply expertise to implement best practices and review processes and procedures to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies
• Continuously assess working methods and processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Support with analyzing the success of campaigns and produce reports with supporting evidence
• Attend weekly performance meetings to assist in assessing and optimizing performance across our various digital channels.
• Work alongside external contractors on status, timeline, budget, deliverables, performance reporting, and competitive / landscape intelligence

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager in Digital Marketing (3-5 years)
• Project Management software experience e.g. Asana, Jira, Excel (2 years)
• Team leadership experience (1-2 years preferred)
• Experience working with external vendors e.g. Digital agencies, Google, Facebook (1-2 years)
• Knowledge of website / eCommerce usability, conversion optimization, analytics, email marketing, paid media, and search engine optimization
• Familiar with preparing media plans and reporting
• College diploma or degree in Business and / or Marketing or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification an asset
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
