Personal Trainer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :

• Provide safe and effective programming based on individual client needs.
• Be on time, attentive and ready to train your clients to the best of your ability.
• Assist members with understanding how to use the equipment safely and properly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a very satisfying and rewarding experience
• Work in conjunction with the Fitness Director to handle inquiries, requests, etc.
• Maintain a safe and hazard free environment at all times.
• Respond to calls to assist in cases of emergency, injury or class setup / take down.
• Return weights and exercise equipment back to storage.
• Ensure cleanliness of all exercise equipment and associated workout areas.
• Interact efficiently and kindly with other departments.
• Receive and process requests as needed.
• Educate members on how to use all cardio and weight room machines / equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS / LOCATION : Scottsdale, Arizona

SCHEDULE : As needed and required by the position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / DEMANDS : Standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, stretching, lifting objects over 40lbs.

EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED TRAINING : Certified Trainer Certification as well as CPR and First Aid certification

SAFETY : MUST PRACTICE AND PROMOTE SAFETY AT ALL TIMES
