Secondary Mathematics Department Chair

A company is looking for a Department Chair, Secondary Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

Inform the vision and strategy for the Secondary Mathematics department and align curriculum with best practices

Manage and develop faculty to ensure high-quality coursework and instruction

Teach courses and provide feedback to students while contributing to institutional strategy and service

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of classroom teaching experience in Secondary Mathematics (Grades 7-12)

Graduate degree (masters and / or doctorate) in a relevant educational field

Experience teaching or coaching adult learners through collegiate courses or professional development

Proven project management skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources

Experience in promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism initiatives
