Job description

Partner Development Manager, AI Operations and Developer Tools

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain. The application window will be open until at least November 7, 2025. Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in Partner Management or Business Development.
  • 5 years of experience working with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service markets.
  • 5 years of experience with Developer Tools technologies.

Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience with executive stakeholder management through strategy consulting engagements.
  • Experience in technical product management.
  • Experience driving the creation of demand generation and go-to-market (GTM) plans.
  • Ability to plan and manage at strategic and operational levels, and launch new products in the Marketplace.

    The Global Ecosystem and Alliances team develops and supports strategic enterprise partnerships and the partner ecosystem across Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Maps and Education. We work closely with external partners and across Google's product management, engineering, marketing and all customer-facing organizations to foster tighter integration by partners with Google's open APIs across Google's products. Through these technical and business partnerships, we build joint success, customer multipliers and a growing ecosystem of partners aimed at delighting customers.

    As a Partner Development Manager, you'll develop and drive the Google Cloud business relationship with key Independent Software Vendors (ISV) across various AI tools (AIOps, MLOps, etc.) and AI Developer Tools (IDEs, Agentic) partner ecosystem built on Google Cloud AI capabilities. You will be responsible for driving the entire partner lifecycle from strategy, to recruiting, integrations, launches and GTM motions. You will manage stakeholders ranging from product and engineering leadership to sales, and experience in the Cloud ISV ecosystem gives you insights into the vendors and industry trends that will enable your success in driving partnerships.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

    Responsibilities :

  • Help partners grow their business on Google Cloud leveraging Google GenAI capabilities with the aim of serving as their trusted technical advisor.
  • Develop and manage new line-of-business partnerships and be the point of contact for these partners at Google Cloud. Structure new commercial terms, with the aim of bringing the partners' Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Access opportunities for new IP creation and differentiation across these ISV partnerships and build an innovation goal for new partner solutions around Google Cloud GenAI.
  • Build the ISV co-promote plan, in alignment with the partner and with the GCP global field sales organization.
  • Be the point of contact for the partners in your portfolio around key areas. Ensure prompt and proper resolution of key business challenges.
