Major Food Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager for the The Lobster Club located in The Seagram Building!
The Lobster Club is a Japanese Brasserie by Major Food Group. It was designed by Peter Marino in collaboration with Major Food Group to celebrate a unique interpretation of Japanese cuisine. Classic techniques like tempura, gyoza, yakitori and robata are on display, along with a focus on Teppanyaki and Sushi. The Lobster Club sources fish directly from Tokyo's Tsukiji market in order to ensure the highest level of quality.
This fine-dining concept is hiring an experienced Floor Manager with strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of upscale dining restaurant
- Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM
- Ensure policies are upheld
- Offer and inspire exemplary guest service
- Other responsibilities to ensure ease of operations
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum 3 years in a management role in the Restaurant / Hospitality IndustryBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferredCulinary certificate or comparable experience working in culinary roles preferredPrevious experience performing new restaurant opening responsibilities such as training and motivating new employees into a high-performing team and implementing new systems, policies, and procedures strongly preferredProven team player willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team!Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadershipBENEFITS :
