ECR0474 - RN Psychiatric - Atlanta, GA - 13 Weeks Contract
Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for an experienced RN Psychiatric to work for our contracted facility.
Shift : 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Psych, 8 hour shifts .
Responsibilities :
Gaging patients' psychiatric states.
Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.
Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
Conducting targeted psycho education, particularly within families.
Requirements :
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
BLS (AHA)
Valid RN license required (where applicable)
One to three years psychiatric or substance abuse experience as an RN in a hospital setting required
Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes
Also have knowledge of age-specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management and CPR training.
Also certified in CPI
Familiarity with cultural perceptions about psychiatric difficulties.
Well-honed triaging, diagnostic, and clinical judgment capacities.
Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution.
