Mechanical Design Engineer

You will be a Mechanical Design Engineer for our team, working on exciting projects like the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Missile and launch pod. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality designs and supporting production efforts to meet customer needs.

What You Will Be Doing As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for performing production support, collaborating with manufacturing teams, and resolving technical issues to ensure seamless production of our products. You will work on a variety of projects, using your technical expertise to drive results and improve processes. Your responsibilities will include :

• Providing production support and technical expertise for GMLRS production
• Collaborating with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve production issues
• Revising and releasing engineering designs and drawings
• Working with a senior lead Design Engineer to prioritize tasks and projects
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Stress Analysis, Materials and Processes, Test, and Production

Work Schedule Information : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Work Schedule : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
