Job Description :
The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance team to ensure equipment, facility, and system reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role oversees preventive maintenance, compliance, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and team development. The manager also partners with leadership to optimize operations, reduce downtime, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
- Manage hiring, training, and succession planning.
- Conduct team meetings and one-on-one sessions to ensure communication and performance alignment.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce safety policies and promote a zero-incident culture.Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, including hazardous waste management.Maintain required safety documentation and KPIs.Operations & Maintenance
Oversee daily maintenance operations and preventive maintenance programs.Manage equipment repairs, facility upkeep, and vendor relationships.Develop and maintain CMMS tools and maintenance records.Budgeting & Continuous Improvement
Prepare and manage department budgets and expenditures.Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.Support capital projects and equipment lifecycle management.Facilities Management
Coordinate contractors for maintenance and construction projects.Oversee facility infrastructure, repairs, and asset replacement planning.
