Davis & Ferber, LLP currently seeks a Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join a fast- paced, successful, team in our Long Island office.

This exciting role offers growth and learning opportunities for a motivated self-starter with plaintiff’s litigation experience who is seeking to advance their paralegal career.

The Position

Qualifications

• Must have a Paralegal Certificate, or 3+ years of experience
• 1+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Drafting pleadings and bills of particulars

Drafting and responding to discovery demands

Prepare, submit and follow up on HIPAA compliant authorizations and record requests

Assisting with motions, exhibit preparation, deposition preparation and trial preparation
