Job descriptionBase compensation $475,000-$500,000 based on experience + Production $50,000-$75,000 Signing Bonus $4,000 CME Six weeks PTO Health insurance 403-B retirement plan with employer match Paid malpractice with tail coverage Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Boone is one of the Southeast's most well-known university and resort communities. A not-for-profit healthcare system in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina seeks a Medical Oncologist / Hematologist withexcellent quality of life in an outpatient-only practice setting with no competition in the market.
Practice Highlights
- Joining a team of 4 providers - 1 Hem / Onc and 3 Nurse Practitioners
- Average 14-16 patients / day (70% oncology / 30% hematology)
- Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Breast Surgeon on-site
- NO inpatient responsibilities - Nurse Practitioners handle all inpatient consults
- Phone call (very minimal)
- EPIC EMR
- Active clinical trials (UNC affiliate)
