Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in various surgical procedures and specialties, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgeries, managing pre-operative and post-operative care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations prior to surgery.
- Develop and implement individualized surgical plans based on patient needs.
- Manage perioperative care, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and surgical outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and recovery processes.
- Monitor patients during surgery for any complications or changes in condition.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance surgical practices and improve patient care.
Experience
Must be either board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery within the last 5 years, and working towards board certification within 4 years. This is required.You need a Colorado medical license or be willing to get one. This is also required.You must have a clean record without malpractice claims. This is required too.Before starting, you also need to get a DEA license.
