Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg / Tele specialty.

The role involves providing care for patients with chronic diseases, including CHF, COPD, DM, and geriatric care.

Expect to manage patients requiring IV antibiotics and those with mental health needs or wounds.

You will need strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and non-titrating cardiac drips.

Experience in caring for patients with tubes and drains, blood products, and wound care is essential.

Patient ratios are typically 1 : 4-6 but can surge to 1 : 7-8 depending on acuity.

The work environment promotes teamwork and accountability.

Support is available from a Nurse Manager, Clinical Supervisors, RN staff, and Clinical Mentors.

Technology used includes EMR, EKG, and telemedicine carts.

Floating between facilities may be required, with on-the-clock travel compensation.

Weekend rotations are expected, along with participation in 75% of holidays.

You may request up to 6 days off, excluding holidays, with the possibility of extending the contract if necessary.

Scrub color is navy blue.
