Job descriptionMust have graduate medical education / APD experience Board-certified in Family Medicine (by ABFM) or Internal Medicine / Pediatrics (by ABIM / ABP) Not able to support visas Southaven is similar to other Southern cities in their love of hot weather, barbecue, sports, and festivals. Southaven is home to many things you cannot find anywhere else, including the largest selection of restaurants in North Mississippi, the Summer tournament season for youth baseball teams, and the annual Mid-South Fair - a weeklong celebration with shows, games, music, delicious food, and fun contests. Only a short drive to the entertainment and attractions in Memphis, Tennessee. Southaven is at the gateway to the Mississippi Delta and the famous Hwy 61 Blues Trail, too. It is the third-largest city in Mississippi and the second-most populous suburb of Memphis. Southaven is also a center for shopping, including a wide range of boutiques and antiques. Southaven has nationally-ranked public and private schools and has a low cost of living. Family Practice physician employment in Mississippi :
A large, financially stable, integrated health care system in Memphis, TN is expanding its Family Medicine program. They are adding an experienced Associate Program Director (APD) to their newly formed ACGME-accredited FM residency program in Southaven, MS . This is a full-time, permanent, and employed position in a popular Memphis suburb.
- 340-bed Tertiary Care Center
- Join a growing team of faculty and FM residents
- Resident / faculty evaluations, academic planning, addressing disciplinary matters
- Precept residents in an outpatient clinic setting
