Our insurance agency is looking for an exceptional licensed insurance agent / Customer Service representative to join our team. At Allen Insurance we pride ourselves on our outstanding insurance products and customer service. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. This individual will sell and service our insurance products to new and existing clients. Our customer service agent will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, providing outstanding customer service, processing policy change requests, processing insurance payments, maintaining knowledge of our products, answering any questions our clients may have, as well as issuing new policies.

Responsibilities
- Inform and educate clients about insurance policy options, such as, coverages, exclusions, and exposures based upon client needs and their personal goals.
- Document and maintain electronic files appropriately.
- Complete a variety of day-to-day client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations or other necessary tasks accurately and on time.
- Create insurance quotes and close sales.
- Process client policy change requests.
- Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide on-going support to clients as needed.
- Handle incoming claim calls from clients.
- Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
- Document each customer contact in client management system.
- Return all phone messages promptly.
- Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of new products.
- Prospect and generate new business through leads & referral sources.
- Foster strong relationships with our clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
- Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
- Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices.
- Assess and identify the wants and needs of our clients.
- Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits / risks of the policy.
Requirements
TN Property & Casualty license - Currently have or must obtain within 30 days of hiring.TN Life license- Currently have or must obtain within 30 days of hiring.Possess a genuine willingness to learn and be coachable.Be intuitive and resourceful.Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.Proficiency to multi-task, follow-up and follow-thru.Confident, self-starter who works well independently.Great Customer Service Skills.Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.Computer Skills - Windows and Office proficient
