This position is a federal work study position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for physics or astronomy courses.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere conducive to academic success.
• Assist students in understanding complex concepts through engaging and interactive methods.
• Collaborate with faculty and fellow Learning Coaches to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Provide constructive feedback to students, empowering them to overcome challenges and excel.
• Stay updated on course content and instructional methods to ensure effective support.

Qualifications :

• Enthusiasm for physics or astronomy and a strong understanding of related coursework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
