You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Staff for the RF Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality RF products.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that new designs are producible and cost-competitive in a full-rate manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of major milestones.

Your responsibilities will include :

Partnering with Production Operations leads to support RF hardware development and RFS Product Center initiatives

Ensuring new designs are producible and cost-competitive in a full-rate manufacturing environment

Evaluating designs and providing manufacturing feedback to lead to affordable and manufacturable designs

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of major milestones

Developing manufacturing readiness assessments and creating manufacturing plans

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline
• A broad base of professional knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production
• Professional experience with product manufacturability, producibility, and design for cost
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
• Ability to obtain a "Secret" security clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting the role

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
