Position Summary

The lead person is responsible for coordinating and overseeing department activities and functions in order to perform shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. The lead person ensures processes are being followed according to standards and schedule.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to coordinate work assignments to meet customer demands and shipping schedules
• Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training employees
• Responsible for shipping, receiving, and inventory
• Assists in the coordination of truck arrivals and dock assignments
• Create and review productivity reports
• Drive continuous process improvement
• Drives inventory accuracy
• Operation of material handling equipment
• Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety standards and maintains a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned by Leadership

Education : Experience And Required Skills

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; None
